Chubu Industrial Engineering Association
Chubu Industrial Engineering Association, established in 1959, aims to contribute to the improvement of management potential and productivity of Chubu industry. This organization is to develop diffusion, education and promotion of Industrial design through the resource development activity based on IE industrial-educational cooperation, research group activity by visiting companies, practical information sharing activities, and overseas company visit activities to study global strategies.
Industrial Engineering must result in benefit improvement. It is very important for companies to gain the profitable result, and we believe it is meaningless of introducing the magnificent Industrial Engineering theory if it is not profitable, therefore, we develop the practical business activities in respond to company needs based on local area, actual stuff and realism.

Visit companies 6 times a year by sharing purposes on common theme and challenges through having case study presentation, on-site training and group discussion.

Build up the practical capability to find and solve the issue by learning the IE basic approach in class room lecture, and expand in application via local training.

Provide specialized information or knowledge shared by IE experts and experience which are practically useful as well as necessary for companies
・Provide overseas information
Examine the direction of manufacturing in Japan through visiting and experiencing local and new entry companies in Europe and America, Asia regions and exchange the opinions
・Promote diffusion
Organize the Nationwide IE Annual conference co-sponsored by other related organizations and Chubu IE conference to provide the opportunities of IE activity presentation, local training and cross-industrial opinion exchange
